Ingredients
- 250 g wheat flour
- 3 g dry yeast
- 7 g sugar
- 2 to taste salt
- 60 g plant-based yogurt
- 120 ml water
Method
- In a bowl, mix the wheat flour, dry yeast, sugar, and pinch of salt.
- Add the plant-based yogurt and lukewarm water. Mix first with a spoon, then with your hands until you get a soft and sticky dough.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead it for 5-10 minutes until it's smooth and elastic. Form a ball, cover it, and let it rest in a warm place until it doubles in size, between 1 and 2 hours.
- Degas the dough, divide it into 5 or 6 balls, and roll them out thin, as round as you can. The thinner they are, the more flexible they'll be.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place a tortilla and cook until it puffs up and bubbles appear.
- Flip it and cook the other side until it has golden spots.
- Once removed, cover them with a cloth to keep them soft.
