  1. Pour the lukewarm water, honey, and yeast into a large bowl.
  2. Mix well and let stand for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the flour, fine semolina, butter, and salt.
  4. Knead for 12 minutes until a smooth dough is formed.
  5. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place until it doubles in size.
  6. Degas the dough and divide it into equal portions.
  7. Form balls with each portion of dough.
  8. Roll out each dough ball into a flat circle.
  9. Place a slice of cheese, a little cheese sauce, and a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center.
  10. Close the dough to form a ball, sealing the edges well.
  11. Coat each filled bun in fine semolina on both sides.
  12. Lightly flatten the buns and coat them again in semolina.
  13. Place the buns on parchment paper and let them proof until they double in size.
  14. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  15. Add the ground meat and cook until it's crumbled.
  16. Add salt, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, ras el hanout, chopped bell pepper, and red onion.
  17. Cook the mixture for 4 minutes.
  18. Add the fried tomato sauce and mix for 2 minutes until combined.
  19. Let the mixture cool completely before using.
  20. Heat a thick-bottomed pan over medium heat.
  21. Cook the buns for a few minutes on each side until golden brown and thoroughly cooked inside.
  22. Serve the freshly made buns hot.
