Ingredients
- 115 g unsalted butter
- 79 g brown sugar
- 69 g white sugar
- 60 units egg
- 15 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 160 g wheat flour
- 3 g baking soda
- 2 to taste Salt
- 225 g chocolate chips
Method
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it turns golden and gives off a nutty aroma, removing it immediately from the heat to prevent burning.
- In a large bowl, beat the toasted butter with the brown sugar and white sugar until the mixture is smooth and slightly airy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, beating vigorously until fully incorporated.
- Sift the flour with the baking soda and salt over the wet mixture, stirring with a spatula until the dough is uniform, then add the chocolate chips, distributing them well.
- Preheat the oven and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper, placing portions of dough spread apart to prevent them from sticking when they expand.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake until the edges are golden and crispy, keeping the center slightly tender.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely and reach their perfect texture.
