Pizza-style stuffed baguettes
Crispy baguettes filled with minced meat, tomato sauce, cream, and melted mozzarella.

Ingredients
- 500 units baguette
- 275 g Minced Meat
- 150 units onion
- 200 units mozzarella
- 60 tablespoon of tomato sauce
- 90 ml cream
- 20 to taste extra virgin olive oil
- 5 to taste Salt
- 2 to taste black pepper
- 5 to taste oregano, basil
- 5 to taste parsley
Method
- Cut the baguettes lengthwise in half, but not all the way through.
- Remove some of the crumb from the center of each bread to create space for the filling.
- Finely chop the onion.
- Place the breads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle the inside with olive oil.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Heat a frying pan with olive oil and sauté the onion until translucent.
- Add the minced meat to the pan and cook over medium-high heat until well browned.
- Season the meat with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, and cook over low heat for a few minutes to combine the flavors.
- Spread a layer of cream into the hollow of the breads.
- Distribute the meat and tomato mixture over the cream.
- Place the mozzarella over the filling and sprinkle with aromatic herbs.
- Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
- Carefully remove from the oven.
- Cut the baguette into individual crosswise portions before serving.
