Red Spaghetti with Chicken

Ingredients
- 400 piece of chicken
- 75 units onion
- 20 clove of clove of garlic
- 480 units tomato
- 75 units red pepper
- 60 units carrot
- 120 g tomato sauce
- 30 tablespoon of sugar
- 5 tablespoon of oregano
- 2 leaf of bay leaf
- 3 leaf of basil
- 10 to taste salt
- 3 to taste pepper
- 4 to taste cumin
Method
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Chop the onion, garlic cloves, red pepper, and grate the carrot.
- Brown the chicken pieces in a pot with a little fat until lightly golden, then remove and set aside in a bowl.
- In the same pot, prepare a sofrito with the onion, garlic cloves, salt, pepper, and cumin; cook for 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes, red pepper, and grated carrot, and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Blend the mixture until you get a smooth sauce. Pour in the tomato sauce, add sugar, salt, bay leaves, oregano, and basil leaves. Return the chicken to the pot and cook over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
- Remove the chicken pieces with some sauce. In another pot, boil the spaghetti until al dente, add it to the sauce and cook over high heat for 1 more minute.
- Serve the red spaghetti with the chicken pieces on top.
