Macaroni with Shredded Beef and Melted Cheese
Homemade macaroni with slow-cooked shredded beef sauce and melted cheddar cheese cubes

Ingredients
- 500 g beef
- 30 to taste olive oil
- 150 units red pepper
- 150 units onion
- 240 units tomato
- 500 ml red wine
- 500 ml water
- 5 to taste sugar
- 5 to taste salt
- 400 g macaroni
- 150 g cheddar cheese
Method
- Dice the beef.
- Chop the red pepper and onion.
- Chop the tomatoes.
- Blend the sauce once the meat is cooked.
- Cut the cheddar cheese into small cubes.
- Heat a pan with olive oil over high heat.
- Sear the beef on all sides until golden brown and remove.
- Sauté the pepper and onion in the same pan for 15 minutes.
- Add the chopped tomato and sauté for an additional 20 minutes.
- Add the meat to the pan with the sautéed vegetables.
- Pour in the red wine and water until covered.
- Cover the pot and simmer for 150 minutes.
- Remove the meat from the sauce to blend the latter.
- Add sugar and salt to the sauce to taste.
- Cook the macaroni in boiling water until al dente.
- Mix the macaroni with the sauce and the shredded meat.
- Add the diced cheddar cheese and stir lightly so it melts with the residual heat.
