Red berry and apple puff pastry
Delicious crispy puff pastry filled with a smooth red berry jam and fresh apple pieces.

Ingredients
- 500 sheet of puff pastry
- 120 units egg
- 250 g red berries
- 50 g sugar
- 15 tablespoon of lemon
- 10 g cornstarch
- 360 units apple
- 20 g powdered sugar
Method
- Place a sheet of puff pastry over the egg mold.
- Press the mold cavities using an egg to mark the shape.
- Pour the red berries into a frying pan.
- Add the sugar and lemon juice to the pan.
- Add the cornstarch dissolved in cold water to the berry mixture.
- Pour the resulting jam into a bowl.
- Blend the mixture with an immersion blender until smooth.
- Let the jam cool for 30 minutes.
- Cut the apples into small pieces.
- Spread the jam over the prepared puff pastry.
- Distribute the apple pieces over the jam layer.
- Brush the edges of the dough with the beaten egg.
- Cover the top with the second sheet of puff pastry.
- Press the edges with a rolling pin to seal the dough.
- Carefully remove the egg mold.
- Brush the surface of the dough with the remaining beaten egg.
- Boil the red berry mixture for 10 minutes over medium heat.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Bake the dessert for 30 minutes until the puff pastry is golden.
- Sprinkle the dessert with powdered sugar before serving.
