Ingredients
- 1362 lb boneless chicken thigh
- 8 tablespoon of garlic salt
- 6 tablespoon of black pepper
- 30 cup of cornstarch
- 30 tablespoon of aceite vegetal
- 120 cup of honey
- 60 cup of soy sauce
- 15 tablespoon of ginger paste
- 30 tablespoon of garlic
- 10 to taste sesame seeds
- 60 units scallion
Method
- Cut the chicken thighs into uniform-sized cubes to ensure even cooking.
- Season the chicken with garlic salt and black pepper, mixing well so that all pieces are coated.
- Dredge the chicken pieces in cornstarch, making sure to shake off any excess flour for a crispy texture.
- Finely mince the garlic and diagonally slice the spring onions for later use.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat and brown the chicken on all sides until well sealed and crispy.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and, in the same pan, add the minced garlic and ginger paste, sautéing briefly until fragrant.
- Add the honey and soy sauce to the pan, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- Return the chicken to the pan and gently stir so that each piece is perfectly glazed with the honey and soy reduction.
- Serve the chicken on a platter, sprinkle generously with sesame seeds, and garnish with chopped fresh spring onions before serving.
