Ingredients
- 60 units croissant
- 200 units ground beef
- 40 slice of Cheddar Cheese
- 80 strip of smoked bacon
- 15 tablespoon of butter
Method
- Cut the croissant horizontally in half.
- Divide the minced meat into equal portions and form balls with your hands, avoiding over-kneading to preserve juiciness.
- Heat a griddle or large pan over high heat until very hot.
- Butter the inside of the croissant.
- Toast the bread on the griddle until golden and crispy, then remove and set aside.
- Place the meat balls on the hot griddle.
- Press the meat down firmly with a metal press or a heavy spatula to create a caramelized crust.
- Add the bacon strips next to the meat to cook them simultaneously.
- Flip the meat once it's seared on one side.
- Place the cheese slices on the meat so they melt with the residual heat.
- Place the bacon strips over the melted cheese.
- Place the bottom half of the croissant on the meat and stack the layers of meat with bacon and cheese, topping with the other half of the croissant.
- Lightly press the entire structure with the metal press to compact the flavors and serve immediately on wax paper.
