Mini Sausage and Cheese Puff Pastry Bites
Fun and quick appetizer made with puff pastry, sausages, and melted cheese using an ice cube tray.

Ingredients
- 250 sheet puff pastry
- 250 units frankfurter sausages
- 80 slice of Cheddar Cheese
- 20 to taste ketchup
- 60 units egg
Method
- Stretch the puff pastry sheet over a work surface.
- Press the dough over an ice cube tray to mark the cavities.
- Cut the sausages into small pieces.
- Place a piece of sausage in each cavity of the tray.
- Add a drop of ketchup on top of each piece of sausage.
- Cover the cavities with cheese slices.
- Place another sheet of puff pastry over the tray.
- Firmly roll a rolling pin over the edges of the tray to seal and cut the dough.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Unmold the bites onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the surface of the bites with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the puff pastry is golden and crispy.
- Let the bites cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
